Currently, I am a Fulbrighter and a Ph.D Candidate in Demography at Center for Regional Development and Planning (CEDEPLAR), a research center at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil. The main aim of my dissertation is to understand similarities and differences between Latin America countries ‘fertility patterns. During the last year I have been working in a project to reconstruct birth histories of women in several countries in Latin America using their censuses. I also have experience in studies about Migration, Cartography, Geoprocessing, Regional Planning and Regional Geography.
