Molly Candon (PARC Research Associate) wrote an LDI blog post on the increase of insurance coverage in the U.S. for acupuncture to treat a variety of pain conditions. A recent study, published in JAMA Network Open, found that insurance coverage for acupuncturist visits is increasing nationally, which aligns with Medicare’s decision to cover acupuncture for low back pain.
PARC Research Associates Molly Candon, Guy David and co-authors authored a new paper in Medical Care Research and Review, "The Role of Schedule Volatility in Home Health Nursing Turnover." This study uses novel data from one of the largest home health care organizations in the United States, providing the first estimate of the average annual separation rate of home health nurses based on administrative data. This research was cited in a recent Penn LDI Blog by Molly Candon.
